(with RPS)
A one off project to relocate 5 call centres in the Stoke on trent area into one single multiformat building.
 
State of the art in large single floorplate workspace ( still in 2014)
 
Project started in 2007 and completed in 2009
Major inputs -
Fully detailed External Design and coordination and delivery.
Internal Design
( Internally was with CMI workplace)
 
Won BIAT technical excellence award 2009

TOLLGATE SHOPPING PRECINCT - SMETHWICK

Derelict shopping centre with 80% units unlet in 2004.

Budget revamp using curved cedar walls , new paving and shopfronts became 100% let after completion in 2005

 

Won Building Magazine Regeneration award in 2005 under 'most challenging refurbishment project of the year.'
 

EGG BANK - DERBY

Fantastic design and fitout project -converting an industrial shed at Pride Park Derby.

Yau Tong Station

Hong Kong MTR

(with Meinhardt + PTP)

 

Mega rail station project on tyhe Tseung Kwan O underground railway line in Hong Kong .

Its a double decker cut and cover railway imnterchange station with 4 sets of platforms .

A whole mountainside had to go before it was built - Shortly afterwards the Housing Corporation built 4 multi storey tower blocks virtually on top of it in 2002.

I headed the initial architectural design team jointly with Meinhardt Engineers ( HK)
